This project was undertaken before the first iPlayer was launched and was the BBC’s first streaming radio service. The interface followed Apple guidelines at the time and the Skeuomorphism radio interface was accessed when rotating the phone. Ahead of its time, this app paved the way for other BBC streaming services.

This interface allowed users to tune the radio stations just life an old valve radio complete with radio tuning noises.

The standard view offered a more traditional list and search view of content.
